I have multiple years of on-site computer repair and deployment. I have contracted at organizations such as The Ford Motor Company, University of Michigan Medicine and School of Dentistry. I also hold a CompTIA A+ certification which encompasses extensive hardware and software troubleshooting with Windows, Mac and Linux devices.

What I fix

Common visits.

Six of the most frequent reasons people book a visit.

  1. 01Slow or crashing computer

I can diagnose what is actually wrong with a device, be it a failing hard drive, computer not starting up, etc. I will then fix it on the spot whenever possible.

  2. 02Virus & malware removal

I can provide malware and in some cases ransomware removal, and explain to you how it got in using non tech-jargon English, so you know what to do next time you encounter something similar.

  3. 03Home network & Wi-Fi setup

I can set up Internet Service Provider provided equipment for you. I can also advise you on if you need to set up an additional Wi-Fi system like a mesh Wi-Fi network depending on your living situation. If you do order your own equipment, we will order and bill the equipment to you using the shopping service of your choice.

  4. 04Data backup & recovery

I can do basic data recovery such as a drive that got accidentally wiped and needs data recovered off of it, and if I can't recover the data, I will direct you to a trusted data recovery technician that can.

  5. 05New device setup

I can set up brand new smartphones, tablets, televisions, smart speakers, etc. I can also migrate data off an old device to a new one.

  6. 06Patient, one-on-one tech help

I don't rush through our visits and give you a tech-jargon version of what happened like other technicians do. I will sit with you every step of the way, and make sure you understand what happened and what it took to fix it.

Why it matters

A calmer way to deal with a broken computer.

  1. 01

Formally certified IT support, with hands-on background in multiple enterprise environments. This is not your run-of-the-mill hobbyist with a toolkit.

  2. 02

I don't run a call center or maintain a large ticket queue. You will talk to the technician who is actually fixing your machine, from booking to follow-up.

  3. 03

Every visit ends with a non tech-jargon answer for what happened and how to avoid the issue next time. Not just a bill and a half-hearted answer.
